Holga 120N

I recently treated myself to this relatively cheap plastic box, and I love it! It's fun to use, very different from my 35 mm cameras, where I have control over all of the settings. The Holga has one shutter speed, two apertures, four "optimal" focusing distances, and a very unique way of seeing the world. Here are some images from my first two rolls of film.

  1. Wow, fantastic collection! I love how you start inside and then go outside. It is like a journey through the window. Hehehe... and Gerrard is always the star :-)

  2. These are gorgeous! Especially for your first two rolls. I love the first photo, great contrast of the flowers against the wood grain of the floor. My first few rolls out of the Holga were sad underexposed rolls of disappointment... it was kind of like picking and choosing your favourite ice cream flavours in a waffle cone, only to drop it on the sidewalk after paying.
